Firefighters in New South Wales and Victoria are battling bushfires in 40-degree heat, while crews have also had to put out two smaller fires in South Australia.

Yeah in Australia we use Celsius not Fahrenheit. A few places reported temperatures of 50 d/c that's 122 d/f. rather hot. (thank god for a/c)
