A teen tells police he murdered his sister with a knife to protect her from sexual abuse.
While one teen was playing a video game, 18-year-old Keith Randulich held down his 4-year-old sister Sabrina in the basement and slashed her throat. Earlier in the day he wanted his Mom to buy him a gun but they had gotten into an argument over it.

Maybe they had. What police do is not always cut and dry. Could have been friend of family they did not want to report Anyways you should always kill the perpetrator, and never the victim.

I agree that the perpetrator should have been stopped by any means necessary and the victim should have protected at all cost. But, I think that this isn't making sense for a whole set of other reasons.
