If it's 3 smaller missiles for the same target, why does one of them always wonder off into nowhere? Is there a reason for it (like not going after the missile in front), or just bad weaponry?

@Freelancingstuff Because it's just one rocket, the bright dots "wandering off" are boosters that fall of as soon as they have done their job of accelerating the main rocket.

After commenting I wondered if it wasn't something like the space shuttle disposing of the auxiliary rockets, but I had my doubts since it appeared both were seeking a target.
