When I was a kid there was a late night horror movie host in Cleveland, Ohio, named "The Ghoul". He was always pulling gags involving either frogs (which he hated) or firecrackers (which he loved). Ultimately, his two fetishes came together, and he was banned from the airwaves for several years after he tucked an oversized fircracker called an M-80 into a live bullfrog's mouth and blew the poor fellow up on a live television broadcast. I think this was back in 1969 or '70. For that and his many other capers, the guy is still a broadcasting legend in northern Ohio.
