The simple fact theyre even thinking about advancing shows how much of a failed operation this is for Assad. He was going to wipe out Aleppo in days. Weeks later, the FSA arent just holding the SAA, theyre pushing at them.

Thinking of advancing and actually advancing are two different things. They can think whatever they like but it wont happen. This is a street to street urban warfare. The Syrian army will need time to clear out the terrorists. Just have some patience ;)

@Drevile There never was promise of quick victory for SAA. They have said all along, that this will be long fight. SAA don't want to destroy the whole city taking out these islamists, they only target known rebel positions. And fight with patience, something these snackbarers are clearly lacking.
