  • america IS NOT and SHOULD NOT BE a "christian" nation. was it founded by christians? yes. HOWEVER, using that logic, it's also a nation created by freemasons.

    • @star53: What an un-American attitude. You're the one that should move out, since you clearly don't love what this country stands for.

    • @Vespasian free to celebrate whatever God (or lack of god) you want.

This also means that those who don't want to celebrate god have to deal with the fact that some people do celebrate god .

True americans deal with other people's shit. period.

    • @wormhole *derp*
You listed the few examples who don't defend Islam. Retarded little children like you who say stupid shit like Christian Taliban, do tend to defend Islam (simply because you're a retard who will support whoever is America's major enemy at the time).

You'll get over it though. In 20 years, retards like you will go back to supporting Communism and you'll forget all about defending Islam.

  • It's a sign of weakness of faith to continually attempt to justify one's beliefs. When religious nutters bring their faith to an open forum, or attempt to push legislation based on faith, it says a lot about their lack there of and justifies my contempt for them and it.

  • I have no problem with religion and consider myself to be a spiritual person, but I think that some wish to impose their religious beliefs on others and I don't think that that is what the U.S. is about.

  • .

What a mis-education. The concept is that our rights are born from a creator: mother nature or a god. Conversley your rights are born from other men, or from government. Which do you prefer, and which you do know the founders fought for?

But what does it matter anyway? Once you understand that our government is based on a creator, you can always call the Constitution a living document. This would allow you to twist the meaning of the laws yet once again.
