30,000 Years Old Frozen Mammoth Found In Russia
Monday 8 October 2012 , Russia .
Scientists hail the discovery of the remains of a 30,000-year-old frozen
mammoth, found by an 11-year-old boy in northern Russia. It took a week
to excavate the animal using a steamer to thaw the permafrost.
Scientists hope the discovery may help them find an answer to why the
extinct beasts were hunch-backed .

FAKE!
The world began only a few thousand years ago, ancient Egypt is a mith, fossils are nothing more than strangely shaped rocks, wine is red, therefore it reminds of blood. Drink up!!! Cheers!

@mytwocents Hey, don't take my asshattery and run with it! I have the unfortunate circumstance of living in california. While it sucks to buy gas, land, a home, food or stocks, it has better weed than BC, NL, or ANYWHERE I have been in my years. That said, there are only two places I would smoke happily. BC and here in Ventura or Humboldt :D

I remember reading that, decades ago, Russian scientists found a mammoth in ice. The mammoth still had flesh on it, and the injudicious scientists cooked and ate some of it.
Surprise!
They got violently ill with food poisoning.

@SlipperyWhenWet That's an absurd number, the common belief is that the last mammoths died off more than 10,000 years ago, and the beginning of their extinction may have started 45,000 years ago.

@EmrysM Interesting, around 50-100 thousand years ago, humans started to evolve from their ancestors as well, maybe thats why they started going extinct?

@DoubledCashew Some attribute over-hunting of mammoths by early humans to their extinction.
