Fox News Contributor Repeatedly Punched By Michigan Pro-Union Protestors Tearing Down AFP Tent

by Andrew Kirell

New video has surfaced showing Fox News contributor Steven Crowder
being repeatedly punched while trying to stop Michigan pro-union
protestors from tearing down a conservative tent outside the state’s
capitol.
Earlier this afternoon, we reported that pro-union protestors in Michigan tore down an Americans for Prosperity tent while rallying against the state’s new right-to-work law.

Crowder was apparently on the scene to conduct man-on-the-street interviews, when things seemed to have gotten quite tense.

One protester cursed at him as he attempted to ask a question;
another grabbed Crowder and punched him in the head a few times. Later
on, as a tent was being torn down, Crowder was again punched.

  • So glad I live in a right to work state. In the past, there was a legitimate need for unions. Socialist government regulations have rendered unions obsolete. Unions have devolved into gangs of thugs. I was in a union once. I know.

There is absolutely no reason why public sector jobs should have unions in the first place.

Seriosuly, Sir, do you have ANY clue what unions have done for the American people in the first place? You think Business owners are just going to give workers living wages from the goodness of their hearts?

      Posted Dec-12-2012 By

    • @countingstars "Seriosuly", sir, you display the illiterate incompetence that motivates employers to pay you as little as possible.

I have marketable abilities, so I get offered good paying jobs which I have to turn down because I'd rather work for myself.

Union heads such as yourself that feel entitled to their job and do not apply themselves to acquiring marketable skills wouldn't understand that. Blame your union, it trained you to be a slacker.

    • @countingstars Yes, this is the beauty of capitalism. If they aren't paying people enough to accommodate their pursuit of happiness (yes this means living wages), they will not attract qualified employees. Capitalism works both ways (for the employer AND the employee) you ignorant fuck. Of course throughout history is has been abused, but usually this is a result of one party taking competition out of the equation. hence the need for regulatory anti-trust laws. Yes their wages are high but realistically it is probably the bar at which all our wages should be compared to if the economic model was working correctly and consistent with the standards that some of our previous generations have been fortunate enough to have had. Private sector wages have stagnated for a very long time while the cost of living- food, housing, etc, has gone up and also to account for all the new debt accumulated through credit- More..

    • @ClintBeastw00d unions were needed, but now the big unions cost more and do less. They don't elevate regular workers wages because their wages are so far out of touch with the real world nobody else can touch them.
There is a reason that private unions are shrinking and there is a reason Detroit collapsed and it isn't all "the evil rich".

Slaves had accommodation, food, water and clothes all provided by their owners. Just because you can choose your labour and get paid with paper money doesn't mean you are free, because after you've paid your bills you just end up with what a slave would have been given.

The Sun-Belt and overseas, where people there are willing to work for slave wages and the local governments get kickbacks in return for lowering taxes for the companies. We have Medicaid to cover poor people that can't afford their health care. It's a fallacy that the nation creates ANYTHING, healthcare is created by INDIVIDUALS. Where are their rights? Why would you go through medical school only to have your kills and labor (and risk) become someone elses right?

Now you have Union workers who are over paid and do very little work. I have had to let Union workers put up trade show booths and you will have 5-10 people show up to do a two man job and then some just set there and do nothing. When you ask why you are having to pay for someone that isn't doing something they say well it's not part of his job or don't worry about More..

Workers do need protection and that is the main reason for the unions. If you own your own then unions and their wages eat into your profits and no employer likes loosing profits. I guess one has to realize that happy employees fairly compensated will not have a need for a union.
