Prosecutors rest in Toledo terror trial
Posted: June 4, 2008 08:27 AM EDT
TOLEDO, Ohio Federal prosecutors are set to make one last pitch to jurors who will decide whether three men living in the Toledo area were hatching a plot to kill American soldiers in Iraq.
Final arguments are to begin Wednesday in federal court in Toledo. The three men - Mohammad Amawi, Marwan El-Hindi and Wassim Mazloum - face a maximum of life in prison if convicted. They're accused of learning to shoot guns and make explosives while raising money to fund plans to kill U.S. troops.
