Rider was flouting the law. Perhaps not at the exact moment of the collision but in the run up to it he was "making an extra lane" which you cannot do in the UK.

The pedestrian was not a retard, you were for riding on the wrong side of the road. And the bastard walked away? You should be thankful he walked away, he could have sued you for dangerous driving and assault with a deadly weapon and won!

I read the title I did.
I also watched the motorcyclist using the wrong side of the road far too recklessly.
Regardless, the pedestrian checked to his right, even though he need not have due to the traffic should have been coming from the left at that stage. Atleast he was wise enough to check to his right, could have been worse if he hadn't fortunately done so.
The motorcyclist was totally in the wrong.
He wouldn't have hit the guy had he not been breaking the rules of the road.
