For all the Politcal junkies out in LiveLeak Land.
This is Part 1 of a 7 part lecture given by Michael Badnarik. This is an INTRODUCTION to the US Constitution.
****BE AWARE**** this video is almost an hour long, and to some may come off as very elementary. But this is to introduce some people to our Government, and for others it will hopefully provide a refresher for what I consider to be the beauty, and the genius behind this great Country.
I will upload part 2 next week, and each additional part each week after.
During this hour Mr. Badnarik will go over the itinerary as well as begin with defining the type of Government we have here in the US. He will also cover the difference between a right and a privledge, and where your Rights come from.
YOU WILL NOT AGREE WITH EVERYTHING HE HAS TO SAY. BUT it should create a good discussion.
A right is defined as a power, priveledge, faculty, or demand inherent in one person and incident upon another. Generally defined as powers of Free action. Something you have the sovergn authority to do because there is no higher power or authority to get permission from.
"The moment the idea is admitted into society that property is not as sacred as the Law of God, and that there is not a force of law and public justice to protect it - anarchy and tyranny commence.' -John Adams
"Education is favorable to liberty. Freedom can only exist in a society of knowledge. Without learning, men are incapable of knowing their rights. And where learning is confined to a few people, liberty, can neither be equal nor universal." - Dr. Benjamin Rush, 1786
