China CZ-5 rocket test
Long March 5 (LM-5, CZ-5, or Changzheng 5) is a Chinese next-generation heavy lift launch system that is currently under development by China Academy of Launch Vehicle Technology (CALT). Currently, six CZ-5 vehicle configurations[1] are planned for different missions, with a maximum payload capacity of 25,000 kg to LEO and 14,000 kg to GTO. The Long March 5 will have the second largest "carrying capacity factor" of any rocket after Boeing's Delta IV Heavy.[2] The CZ-5 rocket is due to be first launched in 2014 from Wenchang Satellite Launch Center on Hainan island.

They just may get to the moon first and start mining it, the U.S government just doesnt seem to want to go anywhere near it.

Sure, it`s been done - The U.S did it proudly, it`s whats underneath all that rock and dust thats gaining the attention.
Apart from Helium 3 and other exotics that are there for the taking (A good starting point for a base to go further into our little system of 8 and a bit planets is also a good start)it`s other common elements like Gold, Silver, Platinum, Iron and god knows what else that is there in the tonnage.
Who ever gets there first, gets to take it.

Why would they? Because of the mass of raw materials, the ability to go anywhere in the solar system at a much reduced cost and they would own the ultimate high ground, that's why.

The rocket seems to be using higher/different fuel mixture. The flame is similar to the flame made by the Saturn V first stage. Anyone else notice this???

Just when, exactly, did the US stop using liquid fuel? Best get your facts together before writing. Unless of course you don't believe liquid hydrogen and liquid oxygen to be liquids. To name just two of the liquids that you don't believe we use anymore.
