Nothing Like a Good Hockey Brawl
In a game filled with fighting, the Komets hosted Muskegon for just their second home game of the season. Blair Stayzer gets a goal in the first period, but two melees break out including Brad MacMillan coming out of the penalty box to fight.

LOL A bonifide slobberknocker! Looked like the goalie for the team in black threw the first punch(@1:15) even tho the guy in white pushed first.

If this happened in any US sport all the players would be suspended for the rest of the season and pay a huge fine. hockey is great.

LOL Hell, I only watched the Ice Dogs. I can't even stand up on skates. Man, you must be a right fair player to make it to IHL level or were you on WCHL teams? Either one is impressive. Now I have to look at all the old Gull players rosters to see if I can guess who you are! It's only about a thousand guys to pick from. LOL
I love most semi-pro sports and AAA type farm teams because the passion to play a sport for love of the game rather than money is so intense. Something more "pure" about it- that or I'm a foolish romantic!

Yes, that is true. To make the big leagues is the ultimate goal. I guess what I mean is that I really enjoy watching a young or not so young player hustle his butt off hoping for a chance to make "the show". Something special about that. Of course, if successful, the money follows.:)
