  • You can go four G's on a roller-coaster without any issues (3.98? at Busch Gardens Tampa. There are plenty of others). It's the sustained G's followed by a rapid transition back to near normal that requires a suit. Oh I'm doing five G's now I'm doing 1.3 G's a half second later.

Negative G's are taboo unless you want to make your eyes completely bloodshot. Well, not bloodshot; blood-filled.

These guys really jerk around with G-Forces. No thanks.

    • @lucidx1

The Vomit Comet is nothing. Go take a flight from Zero-G. Just stick on a seasickness patch and it's a fun experience if you can afford it (5-7K these days for 1/2-1 hour ride)?

With too many positive G's you're draining blood flow to the brain so you pass out. Negative G's, you'e pumping way too much blood to your head. Hello stroke and aneurysm. SO dangerous.

When I flew a Pitts Special, they were rated for +7/-3 G's before the wings fell off. I'd do +4/-1 and nothing more and nev More..

  • At least there's one thing old men handle better than there youngsters.. Stiffened, plaque filled arteries are much less susceptible to the effects of the G-force changes.
