New World Record in Tightrope Walking

Adil Hoshur (alternatively Adili Wuxor), dubbed 'China's Tightrope Prince', reportedly secured a place in the world records after he and two disciples simultaneously crossed a 1,400m (4,600ft) span of wire next to the Aizhai Bridge over the Dehang canyon in China's Hunan province.

The trio performed the feat using only balance bars and without safety nets - a daunting prospect considering they were some 350m (1,150ft) above the ground. As if that wasn't death-defying enough, they crossed at the same time in opposite directions which, needless to say, required some extra tricky maneuvering.
