You know..we complain in the Western world about roadworks/road closures/diversions but when you see things like this, it just makes you glad that we have those safety precautions in place. Granted, I'll still be pissing and moaning next time I'm diverted somewhere.

Around here they secure a street from pedestrians (at least a portion) for simply repainting a building wall in case i guess someone drops a brush or some other tools.
