Cop fired after excessive force caught on dash cam

A Pensacola police K-9 officer was fired and arrested Friday after an
investigation stemming from a police video that showed him slamming a
woman whom he was arresting into the side of her car.

Christopher Geraci, 33, who had been with the department since March 2004, was seen
grabbing the suspect in a hit-and-run by her left arm and strongly
bashing her into the side of the car, then grabbing her hair and pushing
her bodily into the car.

The woman, Abbi Bonds, 29, offered virtually no resistance.

  • She was a dumb arse for not just sitting back in her car, having been instructed to do it several times, but that was a little forceful. I liked the rear profile of her car, what was it?

    • @Bsguk420 It almost looked like a newer camero jacked up. Yea i agree, he was forcefull. but you know they have to get awefully sick of people not doing what they say. Thats one of the many reasons i could never be a cop.

  • I think that woman is a cunt.
Hit and run and the cop asked her nicely to sit in the car but she was resisting. I don't see why he got fired.
I see a women who has an IQ of an ape.

    • @Ben Cambone Thanks. I went and found the info you speak of. I have family in Pensacola and by that time I couldnt change my comment. I am still shocked. Shit like this happens all the time and nothing is done to the officer. Good for them.

  • They fired a cop for THAT ?

  • That wasn't bad. She wasn't even injured... He didn't need to be that rough but that was not worth getting fired over. She was not cooperating. When you don't cooperate with an officer you should expect to get pushed around a little.

  • Fire him? No. Send him to a couple of anger management classes? Absolutely.

    • @UKGEZR I'm sure when he gets charged with assault and battery anger management is what he'll up doing, and will most likely avoid jailtime because he "protected and served(BULLSHIT)"

  • "Bonds was charged with leaving the scene of a crash, failure to yield, driving under the influence and no proof of insurance."

Sure keep arresting the police that stop these drunk drivers who cause accidents and leave the scene...that will end well.

    LOL!

  • Cop gets fired for “excessive force” over this?? I can’t imagine why anyone would want to do the job.. The only reason the lady went face first into the car is because she tripped over the curb..

Did he have to put her in handcuffs? no, not at all.. He could have handled the situation differently HOWEVER, the lady was being uncooperative and wouldn't get back in the car.. When you don't listen to the cops, sometime they put you in handcuffs so they can do their job safely.
