Video showing guard at The Tomb Of The Unknown Soldier getting out of the rain
This is a video showing The changing of the guard at The Tomb Of The Unknown Soldier. Towards the end of the video, it starts to rain harder, and the guard marches over and enters the small green tent to get out of it. They do not stand guard in the rain when it is unnecessary. You can watch the entire thing, it's nice, or go to 7:30 and start it there.

I wonder how many of my Fellow Americans, who brag about their patriotism could not even watch 8:10 of this clip with out forwarding. While these Men/Soldiers stand Guard 24/7..
I want to go see this one day and take my son.
This stuff always get my vote...Thanks for posting.

Outstanding young men . Out of all the honour guards I've seen online , America has most dignified of all . If I ever make it to America , the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier would be among the first place I go .

Not a comment I would expect to see from someone making light of 9/11 with his avatar.

MUCH RESPECT to these soldiers, specially to those who gave their lives for their country. No matter what this country's faults, I'll always be PROUD to be an American. And it's scenes like this that REAFFIRM that.

@Futureman Yes, but this is about tradition, not modern combat.
Surprised if you are trying to make a comment about the last debate in this venue?

@jw6ksucf google it. the steps they go through just getting ready for duty take more discipline than you'd imagine. there is zero room for slop. these men are dedicated to their job.
