On a Cloudy Cold Day this Area once a Sydney Steel Property and the land is currently being developed and Tar Ponds is Cleaning up including the North Pond and it is expected to be done in the March of the year 2014 and Pretty Soon People will be By Passing the Whitney pier Completely heading to the Mayflower Mall and the Rest of Sydney and In the end of this year Cook Ovens clean up will be nearly done. The Sydney Steel Plant has Closed its doors in the year 2000 and Sydney Nova Scotia once a Steel Capital of the World and Cook Ovens has Closed its doors in the late 1980s in the early year 2000s the buildings are being demolished and the Old Ferry Street Bridge is Now Torn Down and in the year 2015 the New Ferry Street Bridge will be up the Muggah Creek being Rerouted and the Creek is now Fixed during back in the 1980s, a lot of people died working at the Cook Ovens and in the early 1900s a lot people had died building the Sydney Steel Plant and the Overpass will soon be torn down since it is not part of the Steel Company Anymore they added a Tennis Court and a Walking track and a basketball Court too. the North Pond is one of the Sydney Tar Ponds is Currently Being Cleaned up and in the 1990s people are making railroads and steel fences at the Sydney steel plant. It is History Now the Hills Blocking the North Pond will be Torn Down later on and Cleaning up the Old Soil from the Cook Ovens and the Steel Plant. Parts of the old Sydney Steel Plant is now the Harborside Industrial Park and rest of the land will be done in the another few years yet.
