Teslagraaf, we own two of these amazing birds. My wife tells me that this is exactly what they are doing. Ours will do the same thing with seeds--any seeds, not just the large sunflower seeds. These are very likely a mating pair. It is the season right now. Nice Skynyrd track too! Thanks for posting

They're difficult with people, yes. The two we have were rescued from our roof cavity after the parents were unable to care for them. They were hand raised but turned wild after not being handled for 3 days. This is normal for eastern rosellas. Stick your hand in the cage now and they go ballistic.
