    • @Zardoz003 ~LOL, the Federal Government makes a bigger profit off a gallon of gas than the oil companies do. Obunghole and his comrades have stated that they want the price of gas to go up in order to make things "fair" for all nations. What a crock of shit.

  • Americans are fucking idiots. "Yeah, fracking good, 'high' gas prices bad".
You do know that fracking poisons the water table and therefore your drinking water?
But as long as you keep getting cheap fuel then it's okay. What fucking retards you are.
And as for high prices, that's bullshit. When it's $2.25 a litre like it is here, then you can fucking complain.

  • The obvious is complaints of problems happening AFTER fracking where as clean wells and water were there ALLREADY beforehand. The reason prices havent dropped are because the largest company doing the fracking is playing a game that is on the verge of another huge wallstreet collaspe. They have billions invested in property with time constraints on starting production. They simply wait, and attempt to start production in hopes of finding something. If they do, they can sell the rights to an over More..

  • We're all too busy investing in fossil fuels instead of renewable sources, easy investment, quick returns, environmental damage that will last centuries, damage that all the money in the world can't correct, and that our descendants will have to endure.

Oh it's fine, forget any responsibility we hold to that of what we condone, we'll only be held to account by history and not by those that witness such careless destructive environmental exploitation today.

  • I live in Alberta (thats in Canada for you that don't know). Really I laugh at people that talk about how bad oil is etc when they themselves used a product of some kind that was made from the very product. We do have the burning water here in AB as well but yada yada..

    • @AGuyNamedErnie you are right, we are addicted like whitney on crack, but that does not make it good for us. we would shoot new born babies down the wells if it gave us a few drops.

absefuckinglutly nothing clean with the oil industry no mather where they are ore how they extract the oil.

  • Natural gas has been cheaper than oil for a long time. Its so abundant and cheap that they would burn it off as excess during the oil extraction process.
Today it is still cheaper but the US does not yet have a solid fleet of CNG vehicles.
In 2013 Chevrolet will have the Silverado Pickup that runs of natural gas. Currently, if you go to japan you will see how useful natural gas is in the rebuilding efforts after the tsunami.
    booom!

    • @chrisTHEfish As for the environmental impacts of fracting: Its bad but no worse than getting at the oil. The problem is they claim its better than it really is so they do it in the vicinity of people and communities. Never said it was good for the earth, but as far as resources is concerned, its the cheapest and best idea for our future.
