Next time to meet one of your fellow journalists, buy them a drink, give them a pat on the back, a hug, a reach-around, whatever. Today the journalists in Greece had the balls to go on strike over state censorship! Hang in there guys, don't give in, show the rest of the world what is is to be REAL journalists with integrity!
To the rest of the MSM sponsored content, propaganda spewing wannabe journalists that are reading this.... Doesn't this make you feel like pathetic douchebags being told what you can and can't report on? Being handed your so called 'investigative journalism' articles to publish?
Thought so.
Go Greece!

Well, that's something. But real journalists don't go on strike. Ever. Nothing can stop them.

Right! They should take jail, beatings, mock executions, water boardings, electric shocks.....sorry, I realized I was enjoying myself too much thinking about journalists suffering.
Yay First Amend..oops, Greeks don't have that, do they?

While they're intentions are certainly in the right place, I think their tactics are wrong. The way a journalist fights state censorship is by writing about it and exposing it - any way they can. If you put the sword in the sheath you can't fight the good war.

@Poosti Malaka
Greeks think they are still living the history of Sparta and the movie "300" but in 1976 they got their butts kicked by the Turks.
We should nuke Danforth ave. in Toronto.

@Rubicon_Cube I dunno bro. I was commenting on the journalists themselves being stuck between a rock and a hard place. I am not a scholar of current Greek societal affairs, but being from Montreal and having no knowledge of Danforth Ave., the only thing I'd like to see nuked in Toronto is the Maple Leafs.
Cheers!

Makes me wanna puke.
OUR 'journalists' are FREE to print whatever they like, but CHOOSE to bury unflattering stories about politicos 'they' like and feature bad news stories about people they don't like.
Google 'Obama AND LA Times', look at http://www.liveleak.com/view?i=e79_1351255467 (see whether it's even a topic for discussion this year).
So Greek journalists, I hope you get your freedom, but I hope even more that you use it, if you remember how...
