French police have cleared a makeshift refugee camp near the port city of Calais. The camp, known as the jungle, was full of mostly Iraqi and Afghan asylum seekers desperate to reach the United Kingdom. The eviction led to scuffles between the migrants and police and almost 300 people were arrested.
