Another lost classic from archive.org. This roughly half hour video presents the 1970 'americas junior miss' beauty pageant as well as all the activities surrounding the high school senior girls who participated in it. Impressive scenery from a time when most of you knee biters probably hadn't even been born yet.
Note that at the time a female senior in high school was considered edible but I doubt that is still the case. As such it is difficult to determine which of the females portrayed in this video are food grade and which aren't. Suffice it to say they are now, fourty two years later, quite palatable.
Overall a little creepy but far less so than beauty pageants are today. More information on the pageants history can be found at:
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Distinguished_Young_Women
Technical notes: I encoded this to minimize the size and make playback as smooth and fast as possible. This degraded the quality but since a higher quality version exists out there already it wasn't a huge concern. The video had some interlacing problems that I hopefully fixed and it had to be slightly cropped at the edges.
Total size: Just under 150mb
Put in the 'other entertainment' section since, as I understand it, a beauty pageant is considered a form of entertainment.

I'm probably odd but for me 1970 must have been a nadir in looks and grooming (And I grew up in it! Tie-Dye Blech!)
Any decade before and after has some delicious babes. For some reason 1970 missed out. Ditto clothes style - yuk!
(Plus note the big booties! Gross! I hope this is a BP aspect ratio problem but probably not)
Edit. BP I think the aspect ratio is wrong. It needs to be much narrower. Though that doesn't fix the crap clothing and hairstyles.

@BloodyPeasant
I'm guessing this should be a 4x3 ratio. Somewhere along the line it's morphed into (almost) 16x9

@BloodyPeasant
Then somewhere between you and the LL Flash player it's converted to 16x9(ish). Or you got a fake aspect ratio as source.
