    Why would a superior invading force with total air-supremacy choose to build FOBs at the bottom of V shaped valleys ... thus allowing the enemy to pour in near vertical fire from all sides vitually unopposed?

    If the bases were high up ...

    Oh wtf

    All I know is if it wasn't for close air support these rat holes would soon be stomped.

  • This is not the 101st. If you freeze at 1:23, you will see that the soldier has a Big Red One patch on his left side. More than likely the AH-64's are an attachment from the 101st.
