Investigators Thursday released video of an intense struggle between two women during an aggravated robbery in northeast Harris County.

The victim had gone into an Exxon in the 10800 block of the Eastex Freeway around 2:25 a.m. on July 18.

She looked outside and saw a woman entering her pickup truck in the parking lot. The victim ran outside to confront the suspect and retrieve her purse which, she said, had $800 inside.

The two women tugged back and forth on the purse before the suspect managed to throw the victim to the ground.

The victim still didn’t let go of her purse and she was dragged several feet.

The suspect got away with the purse and the money.

713-222-TIPS. They are offering a $5,000 reward for information leading
to the suspect’s arrest.
