A Spanish soldier was shot dead Sunday in Afghanistan after
suspected insurgents attacked his unit with small arms fire, Spain's
defence ministry said.Staff Sergeant Joaquin Moya Espejo, 35, was
struck by a bullet in the chest while on a patrol with Afghan forces
northeast of Ludina in northwestern Badghis province, it said in a
statement.Spanish Defence Minister Carme Chacon will travel to
Afghanistan to obtain more information regarding the soldier's death and
repatriate his remains.Spain plans to withdraw all of its 1,500
troops serving in the NATO-led International Security Assistance Force
in Afghanistan by 2014.The Spanish troops are training Afghan army personnel.

    • @patriots_act : Yes, thats 1 argument. If u can barely lookafter urself why have 3,4,5+ kids & bring suffering to them? I believe its the parents fault!! If u cant afford 2 eat proper meals & its only u & ur wife doesn't it make sense not to bring life into the world if u cant support it/them? Like all those African Muslims who have 5+ children & 2+ wives.. they barely have much food but breed like cockroaches & blame every1 else for their suffering!! Go figure?

  • 1º well who cares if he is dead, when he signed the contract with the army he assumed the risk that he could die. At least he died doing what he likes.

      These NATO soldiers died without honor !!

      They entered on their army just because they needed a job, a career. They fighted for their payment money ... just this.
      They died as mercenaries ... They ignored the reason of the war, and accepted it.

    • @S0D Also they won't attack because our Joint Chiefs in the military say its impossible to invade Iran and be victorious.
      Also if we attack Iran we would have to deal with Iraq which is now controlled by the shia thanks to the US.
