september 2009 : "A Dutch fleet sailed into New York Harbor, accompanied
by USS Curney and other NAT0 ships. This marked the beginning of a week
of celebrations commemorating four hundred years of friendship between
the United States and the Netherlands. The fleet's arrival was a
fitting way to launch the festivities, as it was Captain Henry Hudson
who first arrived at the island of Manna Hatta in 1609, sailing under
the Dutch flag"
