Meet 1 Family w/More Wealth than 40% of America

It's been ten years since the infamous Bush tax cuts were created - and except for millionaires and billionaires - the tax cuts haven't helped anyone. What would America's economy look like without the Bush tax cuts - and would the average American be in better financial shape today without them?

  • So, are we supposed to be jealous of them?
Are they bad now for being successful?

Personally, I wish I was more like them.

Tired of people that think the answer to our problems is to make the wealthy less wealthy, instead of making the the poor less poor.

Also employed illegals, overworked and understaffed their employees and took out secret life insurance policies with Walmart as the beneficiary which they collected on.

      You go be successful too.

if there are specific illegal actions, then charge them with a crime.

Otherwise you sound like you are whining.

LOL so now there's a difference right, making it OK to also have a criminal record and history of ethical lawsuits?

If Wallyworld was donating to the Obama campaign would you feel the same way?

of course I would feel the same.
See, my thoughts and feelings towards most things are principle-based, not emotion-based.
One reason I don’t bitch about Soros too often. It’s his money; he can spend it how he likes.

We're talking about illegal acts here and possibly fraud. If a small business would do something equal they'd get shut down by the Feds immediately, unless of course they can afford Walmart quality lawyers.

But it's about Principles right? lol! And I never even mentioned "emotions" but it's obvious where it hit you the most.

  • Well I’m in the top 10% and benefitted from the Bush tax cuts but the problem wasn’t the tax cuts it’s the EXCESSIVE SPENDING.

As taxes are raised you will see a DECREASE in revenue, wealth will be moved off shore and the poor and middle class will have FEWER job opportunities and LESS capital in which to barrow.

Face it the Rich are NOT the problem the marriage between government and central bankers, global corporations and special interest coupled with fractional banking and fiat money More..

Exactly. A deficit is created when spending outstrips taxation.

      There are two answers

      1) Raise taxes
      2) cut spending

Cutting spending is obviously the more preferable choice for the citizens, but it requires government to "eat their own" so to speak, so they're generally against doing so. The liberal answer is to say "oh well, we'll just borrow" but that just digs a deeper hole to climb out of.

  • I could not make it past the 2:00 mark , to much “class warfare” bullshit.

First question, how much taxes did the Waltons pay in 2011 ??? Probably more than the 40% of American people who made less than them.

Second question, how many people does the Walton family employee. Probably more than the 40% of American people who made less than them.

I am so tired of this liberetard class warfare crap. I am a tax paying citizen and I say power to the rich, the spend money and they employee peo More..

  • The Bush tax cuts did help everybody, like tax cuts always do.

This 'hate the rich' nonsense is getting old. The sad part is, most of those railing against the rich would LOVE to be rich themselves, as long as they didn't have to work for it. Inheritance, winning the lottery, doing a bank heist--all those are fine. But people who sacrifice and work hard? Why, they're just evil!

WTF you're including district, local and FCC taxes in there too? Well at least you learned how to Copy + Paste today.

But yeah, "Libtards" like Bush cause all those taxes were not only imposed under him but some were also raised. Cause Presidents control all of that don't cha kno.

  • "...and except for millionaires and billionaires - the tax cuts haven't helped anyone."

See, that's just nonsense. The tax cuts led to more job creation and higher revenues when taxes were raised.

Those evil '1%-ers' are people that create jobs, invest in businesses, re-invest in the economy by spending money, and along with the other top 9%, shoulder over 70% of the taxes in the country.

While Neocons keep believing it cause Rush Lumbaugh teaches em, The 1% ers I personally know and have met over time do not give 2 shits about whether they have a job for you and whether investing will help others. It's about Them, their Family and what They want/need. And hey, that's fine I've learned from them as well and have also created goals for myself in learning. I care about myself, my family and NOT you.

I've heard them complain about their taxes. Like him or not, Bill O'Reilly complains about it.

And they don't need to give a shit about their re-investment. When I pay toll booths, I can't really say that I care that the state is going to get that money-I just pay it because I have to!

Kind of like the rich and their taxes.

LMAO! Bill O Really? He's complained about taxes all through the Bush Tax Cuts, he will complain about anything his viewers love to hear for his ratings. Even I know he's smart enough to know his audience.

You're right, they do not need to give a shit. But also remember regardless of their political beliefs (of if they don't even care at their level anymore) they are also smart enought to know that hiring 1 Outsourced Indian or 5 Outsourced Chinese is more efficient and cost effectiv More..

Well, maybe if we thought twice about how we treat businesses in this country, they wouldn't go overseas.

And maybe we could actually reward companies that stay here rather than go to other nations.

  • Funny how the bottom 30+% don't pay any tax, but receive a generous return every year. So in reality you should be saying the Waltons pay more taxes than the combined bottom 30%. Hell, I pay more than the bottom 30% and I sure as shit ain't a Walton.
