
A convoy of at least six NATO fuel tankers has been destroyed after coming under attack in eastern Afghanistan .
According to Afghan officials, Taliban Mujahideen set the tankers on fire on the Kabul-Kandahar highway in Wardak Province on Wednesday.
Taliban Mujahideen say that at least 17 tankers were destroyed and nearly 20 drivers and guards killed in the incident.
Further details regarding casualties have not been released by NATO or Afghan officials.
On Tuesday, Taliban Mujahideen set fire to a convoy of NATO fuel tankers, claiming the lives of at least 10 people in the western Farah province. The Mujahideen group claimed that it killed tens of US-led forces.
