A seldom remembered gem of a show. The cast and acting was good, the writing was intense, good episode plots and overall story arc, the shows opening theme is of course pretty awesome. The opening sequence actually changes often as the show progressed over it's broadcast seasons. It's possible for a die hard fan to tell you which season it was by the action sequence in the opening.

Somehow people forget this gem was on TV though. That is until they come across it in a Retro TV segment like this, then they inevitably say "Hey I remember this, this show was awesome!"

You're right it was an awesome show, well worth the money to get it on DVD and it is available. A warning about buying it on DVD. The soundtrack is not intact. All those great songs of the Vietnam era that were in the original broadcast are no more. There is only generic studio music on the DVD collection because of overbearing copyright.

I happen to have a sweet VHS recording of the show with it's original theme intact from the broadcast days of TV and I share it with you now. Thanks dad!
