Ren Hanzhi Went Deep - Buries Knife In Face While Attempting To Peel An Apple


Zhumadian, China - Ren Hanzhi, a 13-year-old resident of China's Henan Province, discovered what it's like to have a knife buried in his face after he fell while attempting to peel an apple.

According to the child's father, Ren was walking to the couch while attempting to peel an apple when he slipped and fell.

The impending fall drove the blade of an 8-inch-long knife into Ren's left cheek. luckily for Ren, the knife did not cause any brain damage.

Ren's father, who was fearful of removing the knife from his screaming son, took the child to a local hospital - but the hospital was not equipped to handle the emergency. The boy was instead transferred to a larger facility where chief surgeon Peng Liwei extracted the knife and closed the wound.

Dr. Liwei considered the surgery a success and estimated that it would be about a month until the boy would make a full recovery.
