Bikes are safer than cars in primary safety (i.e. accident avoidance), cars are safer in secondary safety (i.e. point of collision).
He already showed poor riding safety multiple times before the crash (clothing, tailgating, passing, situational awareness, speed).
Bikes rely 90% on rider skill for safety, far more than cars. This guy completely lacked basic riding skills. Yes it is easy to go fast in a straight line, but can you also turn and brake just as quickly.

@MuffinMangler Bikes dont really play the who's fault game. Regardless of who's fault the biker often ends up dead or injured. Thus its the bikers job to ride safetly at all times as part of the understood risk. This guy clearly wasnt.

Idiot! Was going too fast anyway. Up to 117kmh which is about 71mph. The car was already on the road to turn left. Totally avoidable.

If he didnt panic he could have easily gone to the left of the car and gone around it but instead he decided to make a stupid noise and carry on going straight,looked like he was also going way to fast for that street,so many drive ways and blind spots for cars to pull out from behind those parked trucks.
