Beck on Obama's Civilian National Security Force - "Who Are We Fighting?"

Today on Beck, he spotlighted Obama's oft-repeated mantra about the need for a civilian national security force, one that is "just as powerful, just as strong, and just as well-funded" as our military force.

Beck asks a reasonable question of the president: "Who are we fighting?" What possible enemy would a civilian security force be formed to combat? Enemies who could cross the southern border? Nope, we tried that one already - the Minutemen - and they were roundly vilified as "racists" and attacked wherever they appeared to speak.

According to the Obama Administration itself, we are no longer at war with Islamic extremists, so why would we need to amass such a vast civilian security force? Honestly, why?

It is time for ALL lovers of freedom and the Constitution to do as Glenn suggests: 1) Question with boldness, 2) Hold to the truth whatever it may be, and 3) Speak without

    • Aren't you glad that our military is under civilian leadership? The leader of the people is responsible for their well being.

If any group of idiots act foolish, our national guard will defend the way we do things.

    • Amen. Don't quote the Constitution though, the libs will come unglued and hurl insults and threats at you while trying to attack your children and eat your pets.

Never will this nation see such a blatant and overt attack on its identity and heritage as under Hussein Obama. Fuk him. He's a radical nutcase of the first order.

  • Although I think Beck gets a little dramatic at times, it's a breath of fresh air to hear even his exagerated comments rather than continue to listen to the decades of droning leftist media vomit. I welcome anything that doesn't smell of liberalism.

  • Let's see now. Since Napoleon was known to be short, a small guy with an power complex would be called Napoleon-like.
Now we have a (half) Black man as president that is acting both paranoid and Napoleon-like, but I cannot figure out what to call him.

    • We have 50 different state national guards, the Border Patrol, state police, local police or sheriffs, transit police, homeless police, DEA, ATF, Homeland Security, FBI, Secret Service, customs agents, Air Marshals, just to name a few.
Only a paranoid megalomaniac president would want more...and for what?

  • Just watched "Do You Believe in Miracles" the documentary about the U.S. hockey team winning the 1980 Olympic gold medal.

It reminded me, starkly, how far the U.S. has drifted from that national spirit to the present cesspit, governed by anonymous people with a dubious agenda; certainly NOT to preserve what was once the U.S.A.

Meanwhile, just keep hurling insults at people like Beck, rather than questioning was he is saying...

  • It's against the law for the military to be involved in policing the US cities - this is the responsibility of the police.

Thus any civilian army is against the law.

  • So many opinions on matters. One mans revolution is another mans war. All i can come up with really is that many in US are making tons of work to divide the people and same time some of these very radical policy builders are gaining footing as people get angry and frustrated how things are run. It might be future class warfare coming up, if anything ever ignites.

  • Obama spoke those words about making a National Security Force during his campaign. What is REALLY scary is that the people that voted for him apparently want a National Security Force too, not even knowing what that force would be for.
When I first heard Omama make his statement, I said WHAT THE FUCK! Obama supporters bought into it. It's insane. And there's a lot more up BHO's sleeve as well.

    • Beck has made some good points but suggestions of an obama militia is going too far, in my opinion.

It probably does not stretch the imagination too far by some, to surmise that IF obama had his "private army" it would contain elements such as Nation of Islam, Black Panthers and ACORN combined with union activists.

Frankly, I believe it is absurd for people to seriously be contemplating a race war, for that is what it would be. Things ARE bad but an obama security force.... would be More..

Q: Is Obama planning a Gestapo-like "civilian national security force"?
I read a quote from Rep. Paul Broun from Georgia which stated that Obama wants to set up a civilian national security force that was similar to the "Gestapo" or the Nazi Brownshirts.

What is the truth behind Obama's statements that he wants to create a "civilian national security force that's just as powerful, just as strong, just as well-funded [as the military]"?

    • Absolutely, we can't have free speech UNLESS someone agrees with you.

Put Beck in a gulag, that's how it's done the traditional way.

In reality, who cares what Beck's opinion is, he is entitled to it and people can accept, reject or be indifferent to it. A growing audience appear to share his philosophies, that's their choice too.

There is nothing to prevent the Liberal media from developing competing programing to attract their followers. I am confident people would be interested to see the More..

    • Becks redbrick and propaganda as entertaining as it may be to some has gone far and away beyond the limits of free speech. The out right lies, innuendo, and fear/hate mongering that he preaches to his "followers" has become very dangerous. I equate it to shouting fire in a crowed theater. That my friend will get you arrested or instituanalized.

    • Get a second opinion, by all means, however, you appear to be a fascist. Free speech is the core of liberty. The U.S. has paid with much blood to sustain that principle.

There are probably a lot more of you... see you and your comrades at the barricades.

Those who oppose you and your leaders are the free thinkers, whereas you people are just compliant robots that believe themselves to be "revolutionaries".

The U.S. patriot has seen and dispensed with tyranny before, it will do so ag More..
