I have long thought that the prison population should have low doses of sedatives and anti anxiety drugs mixed into their food supply to keep them docile and calm. It might avoid uprisings like this.

That's what they do for the nuts and old people in the hospital. Not prisons i dont think, bcause then they would feel good everyday. and we certainly can't have that in a prison, since utter misery is obviously the goal.
