Blasts Overheard in Toulouse Siege
Three blasts were heard and filmed by journalists near the flat of Mohammed Merah, who is suspected of killing seven people over the past two weeks.
Interior ministry spokesman Pierre-Henry Brandet has told Reuters that the
blasts "were moves to intimidate the gunman who seems to have changed his mind
and does not want to surrender".
