Cobra Bites Charmer Right In The Face Cause It's Not In The Mood To Be Charmed At The Moment
I'm sure some will express skepticism whether or not this snake is a venomoid/de-fanged. The only reason I suspect it isn't is cause the handler seems rather concerned after being bitten. I most certainly could be wrong though. Enjoy!

Serve him right!
The little furry creature on the left is a Mongoose and the plan was to have the Mongoose kill the snake for the entertainment of spectators (and profit to the charmer)

De fanged by the looks of it, his concern comes from the fact that de fanged doesn't mean no venom as it could still flow from the old fang socket and with a hit that close to his eye he could have gotten envenomed via the eye itself if any got in it.

He's a member of a suicide cult known as the SnakesaStupidia. You probably haven't heard of them. The problem with those suicide cults is they keep dying out.

The fangs must have been ripped out, getting bit in the face is one of the worst places. This guy wasn't too concerned with keeping his eyes on the snake, also he would have reacted different if the fangs were still in.

@MANNY_THE_CREATOR The venom of the king cobra consists primarily neurotoxins, but it also contains cardiotoxic and some other compounds. Similar to other venomous creatures, toxic constituents inside the venom are mainly proteins and polypeptides.

It's a good think performers defang their snakes before "charming" them.
