Giving Tricky Dicky any credit for the highways and anything else while Vp to Ike is not accurate. Ike wouldn't listen to this asshole on anything. Nixon was a detestable treasonous bastard. He was pardoned by one of his cohorts Gerald Ford. Ford lost his first election due to his pardon of Nixon for any and all crimes past or present. I wished at the time that they both should have been imprisoned as traitors.

@ILovePickles How else were you expecting them to create the interstate highways? Welfare was created 20 years before these two took office. A democrat by the name of Franklin D. Roosevelt created what is used today. Welfare, to a large degree, even existed in the colonies when no Federal tax system existed at all under the "British Poor Laws". Your history is atrocious.
