I rode out a cat 1 a few years ago in Florida. It was a pretty interesting experience. Being from Tennessee, we don't get stuff like that. It was a major pain in the ass the next day though with no power etc.

I empathize, I'm outside of Dc, no one is eating/drinking in bars, my GF's and I are just partying and watching. Only injury occured- was slicing limes and cut my finger making margaritas, when the media says its doomseday, what can you do but have a party?
