Good golly, I miss the 80's....when i look at how fucked up and derailed things are now, it is clear how far off track we have gone. My parents and their parents will say/would have said the same thing regarding the era in which they came of age.....but i doubt today's kids will have the luxury of being able to harken back to a time when things were....simple and clear. Whatever! It's late and i am tired.

the reason why that law was introduced was valid.
the problem is they typically serve boiling hot coffee because its been left on the pot for a half hour just gathering heat. due to the thermal cups used, it can be difficult to tell just how hot the liquid inside is.
drinks that hot are just unreasonable to sell because by the time they cool off you'll be drinking a coffee that was made an hour ago or more, which affects flavor greatly.
