ObamaCare diagnosed in one sentence

"So, let me get this straight. This is a long sentence. We’re going to be gifted with a healthcare plan that we’re forced to purchase and fined if we don’t, which purportedly covers at least 10 million more people without adding a single doctor but provides for 16,000 new IRS agents, written by a committee whose chairman says he doesn’t understand it, passed by a Congress that didn’t read it but exempted themselves from it, and signed by a President who smokes — [laughter] — same sentence! — with funding administered by a Treasury chief who didn’t pay his taxes, for which we will be taxed for four years before any benefits take effect, by a government that has already bankrupted Social Security and Medicare, all to be overseen by a Surgeon General who is obese — [laughter] — and finally, financed by a country that’s broke....So what the blank could possibly go wrong?"

  • Sounds just about right to me. [Smiling ear to ear]

    Voted.

"Dr. Barbara Bellar Candidate for Illinois State Senate, District 18 sums up Obamacare in one sentence."

"Dr. Barbara Bellar brought down the house at a Romney event in August with this perspective-setting description of the Affordable Care Act, which already has over 340,000 views..."

Yeah, never mind the fact that Mitt Romney invented this type of healthcare reform, it's all the fault of "Obamanites."

    • @picklethepug - I am all for state rights , my problem come's in when the Federal Goverment imposes crap on us. See The Difference??????

So if state government does it, it's fine. But if the Federal Government does it, it's oppressive....hmmmm. Government is Government, dude. Doesn't matter if it's the state or federal level. Both can tax you and both can imprison you the exact same way.

    • @picklethepug You're close. One was initiated by a Republican, so it's fine. Obamacare was modeled from Romney's plan in Massachusetts!

Yeah, we already covered that above. Cajunmojo thinks that it was fine because it was done at the state level, but if the Federal Government does it (especially when there's a BLACK MAN as President-- GASP!) it's a COMPLETELY different thing.
It's just more of the same old right wing double standard bullshit drivel we've come to expect. But that's all just fine, because if Romney wins this fall I know time will prove me correct on everything I say.

  • Right, gotta save our money so we can bomb more brown people!

Not a huge fan of the insurance bill myself, but it's a step in the right direction, and if you think Romney will repeal it I'd take that bet against you. He says he will only because he has to appease the fucking insanity of what has become the Right wing of this country. That base needs to calm the fuck down and get some perspective.

You need to get your eye's and mind open!

Obarry and Romney are both financed by the same big money , offshore banking cartels.

Obama is working very hard to hand the authority of the US , over to the UN , and if Romney get's in he will undoubtedly do the same.

Check out Agenda 21 , for starters.

Go to Infowars.com for breaking news updates , that you will not get on the Mainstream Media News Networks!

Because it makes it much more relevant when people see a list of everyday things they take for granted that are "socialized" services.

I would argue that if anything is essential to society, it's surely healthcare. I'm pretty sure that if you implanted healthcare in the list above and were then asked to put them in order of importance, healthcare would be pretty near the top.

If healthcare is going to be kept off the list, then why not schools, libraries, roads (apart from interstate highways, roads are not paid for through gas taxes, they are paid for through local property and sales taxes). Hell, you could even take More..
