I'll say it once again: crosswalks without a stop light are useless and will probably get more people killed than crossing without one.
They falsely empower the pedestrians and go largely unnoticed by the drivers. Nice combo.

... if in doubt about my injuries in such circumstances, I may overplay it a bit, just to get the retards involved to pull out their driving license (last time I got hit the fucker didn't have one!) and witnesses to come forward with their name and ph. nb. You never know how you gonna feel 15 minutes later, when everybody has vanished from the scene.
