FREEHOLD — Jurors in Monmouth County have convicted a New Jersey
police officer of shoplifting flooring from a Home Depot while he was
off duty.
Darnell Esdaile must forfeit his job as a patrolman with the Freehold
Police Department, where he has worked since 1996. He earned $99,402 a
year.Prosecutors say the 46-year-old was arrested after he left the store in
neighboring Freehold Township without paying for laminate flooring
valued at less than $500 in 2010.
Prosecutors say the police officer used a receipt from a previous purchase to claim he had paid for the material.
Esdaile faces up to 18 months in prison when he’s sentenced in September.

Another black who only got the job because of his race. Apparently $100,000 a year in salary isn't enough for this empty uniform. His true nature was sure to reveal itself sooner or later.
