I'd just like to report that I turned my central heating on for the first time 10 days ago. Also, the snow came to Canterbury, promptly froze solid so you'd need a pickaxe to move it and the sea froze along some parts of the Kent coast.
Those pickles must have cost a bomb to send; I sent an A4 size 200 page hard cover book to the states once and it cost me £25. So hats off to Sloop for that.

@edkemper Yeah, I remember that convo, and yes, it changed. Like I said though, last year was a week of cold all winter followed by a spring heatwave. LoL Would be too funny if it were the same again this year. It's only 5 weeks to spring...the winters here have really got shorter by a considerable margin. Even the spanish and italian students don't go home for the winter any more as it's warmer here than there! LoL
