Islam, like many other religions is founded on FEAR. Fear of life after death, fear of gods and fear of holy men. In that environment, ... cowardice becomes an acceptable response to the devout followers.
At the same time, personal courage becomes an evil that has to be dealt with. If you want to grow a positive, modern, successful culture, these attitudes are completely ass-backwards!

My argument is that someone cut down a tree, processed the tree into paper, used ink to create the words, and sold the book. It's a man made substance in which millions of them exist. It isn't like she burned the only copy ever created. They're a wretched society.
