Politics within Islamic religious communities can be rough.
Would you expect though open, blatant lies, thuggish beheviour and vandalism from an imam?
The answer is: I certainly would!
In fact according to Islamic faith anything goes as long as it promotes Islamic faith as understood by the Islamic religious authorities.
Deception of the Kuffar (infidels) is perfectly legitimate under Sharia.
