Fiorentina have sanctioned Adem Ljajic for instigating
the pitch-side punch-up between him and Delio Rossi on Wednesday night by fining
and suspending him.

After
being substituted 36 minutes in the first half of Fiorentina’s game against
Novara, the Serbian sarcastically applauded the coach for the change and
reportedly swore at Rossi, provoking a physical brawl between the two.

While
Rossi received an immediate dismissal from his job as coach it has now been
confirmed La Viola have taken action on the player too.
