During the month of March, Marquette Michigan received record snow falls for that time of season. For all of the global warming fanatics I have posted a picture of the road in front of my house. Also listed below is a link to the news article. I had roughly four feet of snow in front of my house.

      Yeah, I hear ya. I've heard the arguments on both sides, including the natural cycle thing, which makes sense. Over all, I'm just kind of in the middle, not sure what to think for sure. Nothing I can do about it anyway, right?
      Anyhow, looks like a hell of a snowfall you had there.

  • In climates like Michigan and Ontario, higher winter temperatures actually produce more snowfall because it drives the temperature closer to freezing.

    It's colder than a witch's tit to start, so bringing the temp closer to zero (or whatever your whacky American version of freezing is) allows for more free precipitation and snowfall.

    UP is beautiful, by the way. I used to vacation near Stanwood.

    Global warming is in fact not a very good term, climate change tells more about the process. But I guess you have not seen the latest in news about the dramatic changes in the melting of the Greenland ice.
