Poor timing. Fair chance the APC contained soldiers who instantly swarmed the area.

some of the methods of urban warfare that were used in iraq have no doubt been exported to syria, there was a double suicide car bomb there just today

Bashar's alawite mongrels have no stomach to fight, they want to shoot the elderly and women buying food.
Also over 240 Sunnis have defected from his Army this week alone

I thought it was late then I considered that it may have been an EFP and it needed the vehicle to pass for full effect.

@dorbie Off route mines AKA EFP are normally fired into the target. This is normally done horizontally. Now you said it needed time for effect. You are partially correct. This in the trade is known as stand off, which is the time the copper cone needs to collapse and invert to a projectile. By rule of thumb it needs approx 1.5 times the circumference of the cone in order to do so. But back to this clip...it is neither and only an Epic Fail. Hope this helps ;-)

@Pin In,
You do not know the orientation of the EFP, yes they are fired approximately horizontally but is this one orthogonal to the road or aligned pointing down it? It actually looks like a directed component of the blast heads to the left.
