"Allies no longer willing to cover up inevitable defeat"

With the Dutch troops’ pullout, Canada has reopened talks of quick Afghanistan withdrawal ahead of the schedule as its nation strongly opposes the Afghan war and prefers a road to peace. To make the matter worse, the US’s closest ally country, Pakistan’s president was quoted in an interview published in France as saying” Coalition forces are losing war against Taliban in Afghanistan.”

As things stand, there is a growing tendency among the mainstream media to unveil the facts and figures of the

war and what is going on in Afghanistan under the cover of “War on Terror.” In parallel with this, WikiLeaks’ editor-in-chief said he would not withhold the mountains of classified information on Afghan war from disclosure under the pressure from the Pentagon and CIA, adding the massive classified information would blow the US cover and lift the lid on its covert activities in

  • Other countries have tried before ( like Russia ) and got no where... The US is wasting it's time there too.
You have to chop off the head if you want to win and there's too much outside influence ( other supportin countries ) to do so.
So, bring home our boys, stop wasting US lives, and put the miltary on our borders instead ( to stop our own internal bleeding ).

  • Pull out, build a fence around the shit hole and NEVER let them leave. They can enjoy their backwards stupid way of life until the end of time. And NEVER, NEVER, NEVER help them in any way. It is time for us to USE our strength. We insist!

    • building a fence is too much effort to spend on these people, just leave a fleet of drones behind to rain fire and steel on them day and night.

    • That's it, just keep them in there, and do not let anymore Muslims from these crazy countries into the US or Canada etc. They cannot fly planes into buildings if they are not allowed in here.

I sometimes think this battle is about 'taming' Muslims so the radical Leftists and their big business cohorts can flood the West with even more Muslims.

  • What is this b.llocks?

I think we'd know if 44000 NATO troops had been killed,

Taliban definitely need to hire Saatchin & Saatchi if they're going to get anywhere with this propaganda drive...

  • One thing is true,. nato allies of U.S are pulling out.

America has A big choice to make very soon. I think it's time to cut the losses and send the troops home. I hope Obama feels and the majority feel the same.

  • I also read somewhere that Poland will redraw from their sector, ahead of time as well. Seems more and more countries have analyzed it as a war where you have no definite winner thus see it only as a huge minus on their yearly budget.

Bad shit is, as soon as we pull out the small patches of free land around the bases will be lost again.
As you look at the land away from the military bases it's as shitty there with talibans as it was before NATO went in there.

    • actually, you are probably correct, we didn't really win, we didn't really lose, it was a debacle of immense proportion and we won't really know the true outcome for a few years, hopefully it will be good for the Iraqi's, because it is in their hands now...

    • Iraq is a loss, without question.

Nothing could have obliterated US credibility and soft power more than this debacle.
In real terms, ask the families of the US dead, look at your countries depleted coffers, and lastly look at the Iranians laughing their heads off...
